Not like stodgy ones these are crispy and tasty just like the last roast potato you savour on your plate after a big roast dinner. Haddock is stunning and curry sauce is stunning too. ”

Food was nice but the cod was sticking to the paper and therefore fell apart when trying to remove it onto a plate Service was slightly chaotic considering it was a weekday evening. The area to wait is relatively small so when combined with other customers and delivery drivers, it can add to that chaotic feel. Unsure whether I'll try again. ”

“ Every Friday we pre-order for collection, for our grandchildren who sleepover and more often than not, for us as well but they won't eat anything else. We wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. Freshly cooked, light, non-greasy batter, fresh fish and gorgeous chips, always hot, hot hot.... Staff are wonderful and there's always a lovely atmosphere, no matter how busy and they always aim to please. Why would you go anywhere else? ”

“ I can’t fault this place enough!!! I had the best cod meal I’ve ever had! Me and my partner came in on a Sunday and it was the nicest atmosphere. There were two girls working I think If I can remember they told me there were twins, and they were the Nicest I've met from here and I’ve been a couple of times. Please tell them that they made our day! They were so lovely and accommodating, they made me feel very welcome. It got rather busy but they managed it very well, even multitasking serving and chatting. Very professional about it. I don’t normally write reviews but this night just made my day! We got our food reasonably fast, the chips were beautifully golden and the cod was light and fluffy. I would 100% come back for food and to chat to lovely girls. Thank you ”
